Step 2: Post the first line from the first 40 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses both artist and track correctly.
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

Midland. The Midland (please don't confuse with "Midwest") itself is the neutral zone between the North and South. But just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from there. Since it is considered a neutral, default, "non-regional" accent you could easily be from someplace without its own accent, like Florida, or a big city in the South like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta.

I asked if he was sick of the "Where's Andrae?" comments and he said no because it made people so happy to say that too him. He also said that Santino is actually a nice guy and Heidi Klum is nice, but not as nice as you'd like her to be. He was talking about how his contract with Project Runway finally ended, so now he can say anything he wants to about the show.
I also told him about the reference on The Amazing Race last week (Danny & Oswald had a driver named Andre, so of course they had to say "Where's Andre?" in the Tim Gunn voice). And he mentioned that his friend is trying to get him to go on The Amazing Race, which I think would be awesome.
And I had a great night, I haven't been to that club in 3 years or so and I forgot how awesome everyone is. Then my friends got wasted and started acting like fools, so I had to drag everyone home. But more on that later. For now, just loving Andrae!
I haven't updated for a long time, so I'll need to do an update soon. But now, I need sleep because I only got 3 hours last night.

I thought my interview went really well, but they told me today that they went with someone else. This sucks. Granted, I didn't really want to work in mortages but the pay was decent and the benefits were awesome. But apparently they didn't like me.
It's supposed to snow again tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it. I'm still sick too. It would be nice to hear out of both ears.

I had a head cold all last week, now I have an ear infection. I'm pretty much deaf in my left ear at the moment. I've tried a few remedies and so far nothing has work. My ear has been plugged up since Friday. I'm just going to have to wait it out.
I have a job interview tomorrow, so it's perfect that I'm sick. I hope it doesn't affect my interview performance. It's for a mortage company. Not what I went to school for, but I'm starting to doubt that I'll ever find something that I want.
The ceremony was way too long, but I like Ellen so it was okay. There were some funny bits and I loved the dance troupe shadow picture thing. Theres more that could be said, but a lot of people have already said it much better than I. There were some cute presenters too(the Devil Wears Prada girls, Abigail Breslin and Jaden Smith).
I did the Oscar pool at the offical website. I guess on many of the catagories (I never know the shorts, but I really want to see West Bank Story now). I ended up with 14 out of 24 right. That's not too bad for me. I got all of the acting awards right. Yep, even Alan Arkin. Don't ask how. Little Miss Sunshine was the only movie I had watched already when I made my picks.
I'm worried I'm getting sick again. I think it's just sinuses. But I feel like crap right now. I've been getting sick a lot lately. If I would've gotten that job, I could've afford to go to the doctor!
I rented a bunch of movies. Actually, I've been renting a lot of movies for the last two month and I keep meaning to post about them and I never do. So....
( Marie Antoinette and Hollywoodland (No Spoilers) )
The Departed was really good. I've never been a big Scorsese person. Not because I disliked him, but I just didn't care to see him movies. But it was well-acted and interesting. I might buy it. I'm not a Leo DiCaprio fan at all. I saw Titanic, he's always been annoying to me. I think it's how he talks, also I think he resembles a Catfish. But he sold this role. I think if he had been nominated for this instead of Blood Diamond he would've stood a chance. I don't know why Matt Damon wasn't nominated, 'cause he was great. Marky Mark was fabulous and damn funny, but I don't know why he was nominated over everyone else.
( The Departed(With Spoilers) )
I'm going to post some Oscar stuff soon. I wanted to post my picks before the ceremony, but LJ wasn't working for me. Also, I went to see Bridge to Teribitha so I will review that soon.
And my sister is visiting this weekend, because she's moving across the country next week. But I'm too sick to do anything fun.

I did get called about a job today. It was from a resume that I sent in November or so. So I was suprised they called me now. It's somewhat advertising related, so that's good. And it's in Robinson so it's not as bad as driving all the way into Pittsburgh.
In other awesome news, they are opening a H&M at The Robinson Mall. Almost all of the clothes I bought in England were from H&M (because they actually carried plus-sizes). I'm excited. Hopefully I'll get the job so I can afford to buy new clothes.
I've been having a lot of tv-related dreams lately. First, Sylar from Heroes was living in my basement and was planning on killing me. But we talked it out, became friends and threw a big party together. Though, I was annoyed in my dream because while I was hiding from Sylar, when he wanted to kill me, I missed the last 15 minutes of Heroes.
Then I dreamt about the trippiest episode of House ever. There was a circus involved. And last night I dreamt that I was doing my taxes with Crabman from My Name is Earl. I apparently have been watching way too much tv.
Speaking of taxes. I'm getting more back from the federal than I thought I would. Which is awesome and it's all going to pay my car insurance. I really hope I get this job, because while I still have about 3 months til I'm broke. I don't want to wait until the last minute.
This storm we just had annoyed me. I have no idea how much snow we got, but there's a sheet of ice on top of it. Which makes it really hard to shovel, because I have to break up the ice first. Also, I actually had fun plans this week (going shopping, a party, dinner) and had to cancel because of the storm. The ice in the yard has been tripping up my dog. It's fairly entertaining to me though. She gets very excited and tries to run so she can bark at someone, but she just ends up sliding around on the ice.

You are The Star
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

I'd like to make a big post about the Oscars and who I think it going to win, but I've only seen a few of the films and performances that are nominated. So any picks I make would be pure guessing.
What I have seen:
Little Miss Sunshine - liked it, didn't love it as much as I thought. Abigail Breslin is awesome for a kid, but I don't think she'll win.
The Devil Wears Prada - Meryl Streep is great, as usual. But I'm pulling for Helen Mirren, only because I love her and want to be her when I grow up.
An Inconvenient Truth - Informative and interesting subject matter. But it's a documentary but Al Gore, so kind of boring. But I haven't seen any of the others so I'll pull for it.
The thing that sucks about not having a movie theater in my town is that I never see movies until they get to DVD. I do see more in the summer, when the drive-in is open. But I rarely bother to make the 40 - 50 minute drive to a theater.
I haven't seen Dreamgirls yet, but I'm hoping Jennifer Hudson wins. Just because it would piss off Beyonce. After her father made the comments stating the reason she didn't win a Golden Globe is that they were racist (yeah, because Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy and Forest Whitaker are so very white), I'm just very annoyed.
And from
laurelin_kit : Below is a list of all the films nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award since 1970 (with the winning picture at the top of the list for each year, with the exception of 2006). Bold the ones you've seen.
